MyShoppingGenie is a small program or applet that allows a user to search eBay by entering an item in Goggle or Yahoo search engines. It in turn displays all instances of the item INSTANTLY in a little dialog box at the bottom of the browser you are using. Right now it supports Firefox and Internet Explorer.

What's amazing is that the user downloads the program for FREE!

  1. You get paid every time that person buys from ebay!
  2. Commissions are between 50% and 75%!
  3. All you have to do is put together a campaign to get people to download this program to there computer!

How does it work?

The first thing you need to do is sign up as an Affiliate. You make money by becoming an Affiliate Marketing member. To become a MyShoppingGenie Affiliate:

  1. Go to the MyshoppingGenie Site. At the bottom right of the page click on the Green highlighted "Affiliate".
  2. Sign up for the plan that sells for $99.00. This is a one time fee that allows you to download the program an INFINITE number of times! You'll notice that there is another package that you can sign up for that costs $199.00. This package is the same but includes a Marketing System that you don't really need right off the bat. When you begin to aquire a large number of customers you will want to sign up for the Marketing System.
  3. Once you go through become an affiliate you will be given a web site that is associated with your ID. This is how eBay knows to pay you the commission. So simply contact everyone you know that shops on eBay and have them download the program from your site! When they purchase on eBay from that point forward you be making commission on EVERYTHING THEY BUY!

Bruce Keller here. I wanted to elaborate on your initial impressions of the Affiliate package...

You will notice that in addition to purchasing the MyShoppingGenie Bundle there are various "Plans" that make you money by getting people to become Affiliates. This is the part you can either ignore or look into.
If you don't recognize it, it's called an MLM.
Now I am not here to recommend the MLM part of this program. Frankly they make me a little squirrelly! I know people who make a lot of money with MLM's, but I'm not one of them. It takes a certain type of personality to make MLM's successful, if you are one of these people you won't find a better product to work with than myshoppinggenie, simply because you are not asking anyone to BUY an actual product!

My focus is the eBay utility and making money from eBay! So what this really means is that there are TWO revenue streams here. For me putting together an Advertising and Marketing campaing to propogate the eBay program is my cup of tea. My take on this is that if you came to this site it was becuase you have an interest or skill in Internet Marketing and not MLM's.
My comment or recommendation on MLM marketing stragegy is simple. If you know someone that loves MLM's SIGN THEM UP!
Because it only takes one superstar in your downline to make you money. Anyway back to MyshoppingGenie...
